On Monday, May 4th Tri-City Hospital Foundation (TCHF) held the 25th Annual TaylorMade Golf ‘Fore’ Your Heart fundraising golf tournament.  This annual event, with this year’s theme of Improving your game, Reducing your risk- get your HEART into it!, continues to supply vital funding to cardiac programs, equipment and services at Tri-City Medical Center.

More than 120 golfers and 30 pros participated in this important round of golf.  It was a beautiful morning as TCMC Medical Staff, Cardiac leaders, volunteers and community supporters came together to make this tournament happen.

Pete Sanchez, Vice President, Business Development of TaylorMade Golf Company, kicked off the event by thanking the participants and reminding them how proceeds from the tournament have changed the course of cardiac care for our community.

“For 24 years, the Golf ‘Fore’ Your Heart charity golf tournament has saved lives by raising funds dedicated to cardiovascular care and preventive services at Tri-City Medial Center,” said Mr. Sanchez. “Your participation has helped make Tri-City a regional leader in cardiac care.”

The efforts of the Golf Planning Committee and tournament chair Pete Sanchez helped generate funds of $115,000 with net proceeds of over $75,000 in charitable support.

We extend our very special appreciation to all of our TCMC employees, medical staff and medical groups that participated in this Click To View PDF tournament as players, volunteers or sponsors - You truly are the HEART of this event! Thank you!
