We’ve put together a refresher list of basic interview tips to help you shine on your big day. Please remember these tips are suggestions only.
Here are a few things to consider before you arrive for your interview:
1. Arrive on time. You may want to drive to the hospital the day before so you know how to get here and where to park.
2. Be prepared. Do your homework. And bring a few copies of your resume with you as well as a pad of paper, a pen and some thoughtful questions.
3. Dress appropriately. Conservative business attire is preferred.
4. Remember what your mom always said: have a firm handshake, make eye contact and use a confident voice. Being polite is a good idea, too.
5. Have a list of references, with contact information, with you.
6. Express your interest in the position for which you are interviewing.
7. Don’t forget to breathe. The more relaxed and engaged you are, the more you’ll learn about us.
