We really appreciate your interest in our medical center. So to help you learn as much as possible about us, we’ve put together a short list of things we think are important and interesting to know about the services we offer.
- Cardiovascular Services: Our comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care management includes both invasive and non-invasive procedures. We are a San Diego Designated Heart Attack Receiving Center and perform a variety of complex procedures.
- Cardiac Wellness Center: The Center is nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and offers education and monitored exercise in a state-of-the-art facility.
- Stroke Assessment and Care: We’ve earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers; a Bronze Performance Achievement Award; and a CareScience Select Practice National Quality Award for the treatment of ischemic stroke.
- The Wellness Center: This is a medically integrated fitness center, and the only one of its kind in the region. A professional fitness and medical staff oversees the use of state-of-the-art workout and fitness equipment, free-weight training, a lap pool and many other exercise modalities. There are steam rooms, a sauna, and a Zen Garden.
- Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine: This outpatient treatment center provides interdisciplinary and comprehensive chronic wound treatment.
- Radiology: Our state-of-the-art technology and services include a 64-channel multi-slice CT scanner; two 1.5 Tesla MRI suites and an open MRI suite for claustrophobic patients. Advanced mammography technology includes a stereotactic breast biopsy table and MRI breast imaging/biopsy. Our imaging technology is 100% digital.
- Baby of Mine Family Childbirth Center: This is a complete program of childbirth services offering advanced facilities and expert care, including obstetric/newborn care, post-partum rooms; and clinical support and education to women of all ages.
- North County Child Study Center: This program is designed to help children with behavioral and developmental disorders such as ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.
- Emergency Department Services: The ED operates 24 hours a day, including a Regional Paramedic Base Station. It’s a designated STEMI Receiving Center, Designated Primary Stroke Receiving Center; and has a dedicated 64-slice CT scanner.
- Tri-City Rehabilitation Center: This is an inpatient facility utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and offering 24-hour nursing and medical supervision, PT, OT, SP, TR and social work.
